Exploring the Ins and Outs of a Digital Marketing Apprentice's Daily Routine

Today I thought what better to share with you all then a typical day in my life as a Digital Marketing Apprentice. Of course everyone's experiences will be unique, but giving you an insight into my day may help you decide if an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing is the right fit for you. So now lets get into it.

Lets first establish the date/day for some added context. Friday the 19th of April. My morning began with me waking up at around 8:00 am and getting ready for going into the office for 9:00 am, I feel that is as much detail as you need for that part as its not that interesting :)

9:00am I got into the office and said morning to my colleagues who were already there before logging onto my laptop for the day, opening up all my various programs like Outlook, Teams, Facebook and Chrome the list goes on. I then went to check my calendar for the day which revealed I had two meetings one at 9:30 and one at 10:00 so tat meant I would be in meeting till around 12:00.

After establishing this I thought the best use of my half an hour I had before the meetings would be to check if I had any comments to reply to on our social media (which for a change I didnt) and to check that the post I had scheduled using buffer to go out at 9:00am had posted successfully (which it did) by the time I had done both those tasks I only had around 15 minutes to set up my laptop in a different room so i didnt disturb my colleagues so I decided that would be the next job.

9:30am my first meeting began which was supposed to last for half an hour but actually only ended up being for 15 so I got a rest before my next session which I was worried I wouldn't get to have the next meeting was with my apprenticeship provider Althaus Digital in this session we covered Content Communication which from my understanding is all about different digital formats for example Infographics, Blogs, Lists and more.

One I had finished with meetings for the day I went back into the main office and started on No News No Shoes', the company I work for, website before moving on to create/draft some social media posts and grabbing some lunch. After lunch I continued planning social media post and even scheduled some, and before I knew it it was time to log off and head home at 5:00pm.
